Stat. tit. 62, § 62-34.2","heading":"Estimate of funds expected to accrue to General Revenue","body":"Fund and Special Revenue Funds - Comprehensive economic report.\n\nA. Agencies responsible for the collection of monies deposited\n\nto the credit of the General Revenue Fund and each of the Special\n\nRevenue Funds shall be subject to the provisions of this act. Upon\n\nrequest of the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices, these agencies shall provide the Director of the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services an itemized estimate of funds\n\nexpected to accrue to the General Revenue Fund and each of the\n\nSpecial Revenue Funds for the ensuing fiscal year in the manner and\n\nform established by the Director, in accordance with the duties\n\nassigned to the State Board of Equalization in Section 23 of Article\n\nX of the Oklahoma Constitution. Each of these agencies shall also\n\nprovide to the Director, as requested, a written explanation of the\n\nmethodology and relevant assumptions used in developing the current\n\nand future revenue estimates submitted, a statement of:\n\n1. The prior year’s actual revenue collections;\n\n2. A projection of the current year’s revenue collections; and\n\n3. Estimated revenue collections for the ensuing fiscal year.\n\nNo expenditure shall be made from any General Revenue Fund or\n\nSpecial Revenue Fund until such fund has been assigned to an agency\n\nby law or by the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices.\n\nB. In addition to providing the information listed above, the\n\nOklahoma Tax Commission shall also provide to the Director of the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services a comprehensive\n\neconomic report no later than two (2) weeks prior to each of the\n\nmeetings of the State Board of Equalization pursuant to paragraphs 1\n\nand 3 of Section 23 of Article X of the Constitution of the State of\n\nOklahoma. Each report shall include a summary of recent national\n\nand state economic performance and a forecast of national and state\n\neconomic performance for the current fiscal year and the ensuing\n\nfiscal year. These reports shall be considered a basis upon which\n\nthe itemized revenue estimates of the Commission are developed. The\n\nreport shall include an analysis of the relative accuracy of the\n\neconomic forecasts on which the previous and current fiscal years’\n\nrevenue estimates were based.\n\nC. The Tax Commission shall also provide all estimates,\n\nexplanations, statements, projections, reports and other documents\n\nrequired by this section to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate,\n\nmembers of the Senate Appropriations and Finance Committees, the\n\nSpeaker of the House of Representatives and members of the House\n\nAppropriations and Budget Committee at the same time that such\n\ndocuments are provided to the Director of the Office of Management\n\nand Enterprise Services.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7b513f66d2243065527fa28cb037fc79e529e7432e4d5911a238c221560fe9ae","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.19","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.20"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
