By July 1, 2020, the Director of the Office of Management\n\nand Enterprise Services shall initiate a request for proposal for\n\nthe ongoing maintenance of desktop support and management systems\n\nfor all state agencies. The Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices is authorized to enter into a contract for such services,\n\npursuant to the provisions of law.\n\nB. Notice of the request for proposal shall be published in the\n\nmanner provided for competitive bidding. The requests for proposal\n\nmust solicit quotations and must specify the importance of\n\nguaranteed savings, price, quality, technical ability and\n\nexperience. The contract shall be awarded to the responsible\n\nofferor whose proposal is determined to achieve guaranteed savings\n\nto this state in comparison with the cost of current desktop support\n\nand management as provided by the Information Services Division of\n\nthe Office of Management and Enterprise Services.\n\nC.
