Stat. tit. 62, § 62-34.37","heading":"Submission of budget - Plan of expenditures - Proposed","body":"revenues.\n\nImmediately after the beginning of each regular session of the\n\nLegislature, the Governor shall submit to the presiding officer of\n\neach house, copies of the budget based upon the investigations and\n\nconclusions of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services.\n\nSuch budget document shall contain a complete and itemized plan of\n\nall proposed expenditures for each agency or undertaking classified\n\naccording to the various cabinet areas designated by the Governor or\n\notherwise created by law. Such expenditures shall be further\n\nclassified by function, character and object, and in the event such\n\nproposed expenditures exceed the estimate made by the State Board of\n\nEqualization, the Governor shall accompany the budget document with\n\na proposal of new revenue raising measures sufficient to effect a\n\nbalanced budget for the ensuing fiscal year.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"41c0ac0357b08dc5008ae9e4728acf3d9d0e021d2d982185949e103fc246c44f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.36.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.38"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
