Stat. tit. 62, § 62-34.87","heading":"Transfer of funds to Higher Learning Access Trust Fund","body":"In order to ensure that the Oklahoma Higher Learning Access\n\nProgram will be fully funded and all eligible and qualifying\n\nstudents receive scholarships, the following procedures shall be\n\nobserved:\n\n1. Not later than November 1, 2007, and November 1 of each\n\nsubsequent year, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education\n\nshall estimate the amount of revenue they deem necessary to fund\n\nawards allowed pursuant to the Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Act,\n\nfor the fiscal year which begins the following July 1 and provide\n\nsuch estimate to the State Board of Equalization;\n\n2. At its meeting in December 2007, and December of each\n\nsubsequent year, held pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 1 of\n\nSection 23 of Article X of the Oklahoma Constitution, the State\n\nBoard of Equalization shall determine the total amount of revenue\n\nnecessary to fund awards allowed pursuant to the Oklahoma Higher\n\nLearning Access Act for the fiscal year which begins the following\n\nJuly 1 and reflect such amount as it certifies amounts available for\n\nappropriation from the General Revenue Fund by the Legislature for\n\nsuch fiscal year and identify the amount to be authorized pursuant\n\nto paragraph 3 of this section; and\n\n3. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law directing the\n\napportionment of revenues, beginning with the fiscal year ending\n\nJune 30, 2009, and for each subsequent fiscal year, the Director of\n\nthe Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall transfer on a\n\nperiodic basis as needed the amount of revenue to be deposited to\n\nthe Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Trust Fund, provided that the\n\ntotal amount of such transfers in any fiscal year shall not exceed\n\nthe amount authorized for transfer by applicable budget legislation\n\nfor such fiscal year.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f687e44a130c37ab57915c563c28c4bd37ef8b735992a3aa9a59e0ff241d2aa5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.85","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34.88"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
