Stat. tit. 62, § 62-342","heading":"Tender - Acceptance at face value - Receipt - Cancellation","body":"of bond or warrant.\n\nWhen the owner of such warrants or bonds tenders the same to the\n\nclerk of said city, town or the county treasurer in the case of a\n\ndrainage district, in payment of the paving, drainage or street\n\nimprovement assessment liens or any installment thereof upon his\n\nproperty in the paving, drainage or street improvement district, in\n\nwhich such warrants or bonds were issued, the same shall be accepted\n\nat their face value by such city or town clerk, or the county\n\ntreasurer, in payment of such improvement assessment liens or any\n\ninstallment thereof upon said owner's property in such improvement\n\nor drainage district, whether due or to become due, and shall\n\noperate to discharge all paving, drainage or street improvement\n\nassessments upon such property, to the extent of the face value of\n\nsuch warrants or bonds, so tendered, and the clerk of said city or\n\ntown, or the county treasurer of such county, shall issue a receipt\n\nto the owner of such property and the owner of such warrants or\n\nbonds to the extent of all such improvement taxes and liens on said\n\nproperty, whether due or to become due, to the amount of the face of\n\nsuch warrants or bonds tendered in payment, including the interest\n\ndue thereon, and thereupon said clerk of such city or town or the\n\ncounty treasurer of such county shall cancel said warrants or bonds,\n\nso delivered in discharge of such assessments or liens, or endorse\n\nsaid payment on said warrant or bond in case the amount due on said\n\nassessment at said time is less than the face value of said warrants\n\nor bonds so tendered.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"436eb4078c8030ec14bc13570663b2ee5fb610dcffc5ae9c300398d7377e5d4b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-341","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-343"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
