In order to comply with Executive Orders and federal and\n\nstate statutory and regulatory requirements related to the criminal\n\njustice information system, to support agencies within the Oklahoma\n\nSafety and Security Cabinet, and to accomplish the purposes of the\n\nInformation Services Division of the Office of Management and\n\nEnterprise Services, there is hereby established the \"Criminal\n\nJustice Information Systems Center for Excellence\" to provide shared\n\ninfrastructure services for such agencies. The Criminal Justice\n\nInformation Systems Center for Excellence shall be under the\n\nadministrative control of the Chief Information Officer.\n\nB. In establishing and operating the Criminal Justice\n\nInformation Systems Center for Excellence through the Information\n\nServices Division, the Chief Information Officer shall collaborate\n\nwith agencies subject to criminal justice information system\n\nrequirements. The Chief Information Officer, in conjunction with\n\nthe Commissioner of Public Safety, shall establish an appropriate\n\ngovernance model for priorities, shared services and systems for the\n\nCriminal Justice Information Systems Center for Excellence. The\n\nChief Information Officer may utilize the Criminal Justice\n\nInformation Systems Center for Excellence to accomplish such other\n\npurposes as may be necessary for the administration of the duties of\n\nthe Information Services Division that are related to stringent\n\nfederal or state data security requirements, provided the security\n\nof investigative and law enforcement information and support systems\n\nis not jeopardized.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2f3290b626af57e9cda957616268d8899960f4bcc1df0dcd88a7db7ac00e1270","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-35.6","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-35.6.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
