Stat. tit. 62, § 62-383","heading":"Public body defined - Bond defined","body":"The following terms, wherever used or referred to in this act,\n\nshall have the following meaning:\n\n(a) The term \"public body\" means a county, city, town, school\n\ndistrict, independent school district, consolidated school district,\n\njoint school district, union graded school district, board of\n\neducation, or drainage district, or any educational institution\n\nheretofore authorized by statute to issue bonds.\n\n(b) The term \"bond\" includes bonds, notes, warrants, debentures,\n\ncertificates of indebtedness, temporary bonds, temporary notes,\n\ninterim receipts, interim certificates and all instruments or\n\nobligations evidencing or representing indebtedness or evidencing or\n\nrepresenting the borrowing of money, or evidencing or representing a\n\ncharge, lien or encumbrance on specific revenues, income or property\n\nof a public body, including all instruments or obligations payable\n\nfrom a special fund.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8c6466df332544fec6066863ac2c40e14c85e08c0554c84a3b9e3a943aa41605","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-382","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-384"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
