Stat. tit. 62, § 62-385","heading":"Counties of 200,000 to 300,000 - Payment of bonds","body":"notwithstanding running of Statute of Limitations.\n\nIn counties having a population of more than two hundred\n\nthousand (200,000) and less than three hundred thousand (300,000)\n\naccording to the last Federal Decennial Census of 1950, or any\n\nsucceeding Federal Decennial Census, and a net valuation of Two\n\nHundred Million Dollars ($200,000,000.00) or more, any municipal\n\ncorporation, county, township or school district in this state which\n\nhas issued or may hereafter issue general obligation bonds which\n\nhave or may hereafter become due and payable and against the payment\n\nof which the statute of limitations has or shall have run, may at\n\nits option, authorize the payment of said bonds not withstanding the\n\nfact that the statute of limitations has run and pay said bonds out\n\nof any money on hand in the sinking fund of said municipal\n\ncorporation, county, township or school district available for the\n\npayment of such bonds; provided that the governing body of said\n\nmunicipal corporation, county, township or school district shall, by\n\nresolution duly adopted, authorize said payment.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3e88aa2a83ff11861bac86ddc714ce396b57acf2f8678fa1f8b42a8ca9e92dfc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-384","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-391"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
