Stat. tit. 62, § 62-392","heading":"Notice of issue - Determination of indebtedness","body":"Notice of the issuance of bonds provided for in this act, shall\n\nbe given by publication in a newspaper published at the county seat,\n\nor, if no newspaper is published at the county seat, then such\n\npublication shall be made in the official newspaper of such county,\n\nand by posting a copy of the same in five public places in the\n\nmunicipality, stating that on the day named therein the municipality\n\nwill proceed before the county court of the county, if the amount be\n\nless than One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00), or before the district\n\ncourt, if the amount exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00), to make\n\na showing and ask the court to hear and determine the amount of the\n\noutstanding legal indebtedness of said municipality, and to sign the\n\nbonds to be issued in payment of the same; and any person interested\n\nmay remonstrate against the issuance of the same.
