Stat. tit. 62, § 62-413","heading":"Registration of bonds - Endorsement of legality","body":"\n\nThe clerk or appointed agent of every county, city, town,\n\ntownship, board of education, school district, or other municipal\n\ncorporation in this state, issuing bonds under Sections 411 et seq.\n\nof this title, shall register the same in his office. Such bonds\n\nshall also, in every case, be registered by the county clerk or\n\nappointed agent, showing the date, number and amount thereof, rate\n\nof interest, to whom payable, where payable, and date of maturity;\n\nand all bonds issued under this act shall have endorsed thereon a\n\ncertificate signed by the county clerk and the district attorney of\n\nthe county in which such issuing municipality is located, to the\n\neffect that said bonds are issued pursuant to law, and that said\n\nissue is within the debt limit. Said bonds shall thereafter be\n\nregistered by the treasurer or appointed agent of the municipality\n\nissuing the same, said treasurer's or appointed agent's registration\n\nbeing made in like manner to that of the county clerk as\n\nhereinbefore set forth and each of said bonds shall have a\n\ncertificate executed by said treasurer or appointed agent endorsed\n\nthereon to show that said treasurer or appointed agent has so\n\nregistered said bonds. Thereafter said bonds shall be delivered to\n\nthe State Auditor and Inspector, who shall register the same in his\n\noffice in a book kept for that purpose and then shall, under his\n\nseal of office certify upon such bonds the fact that they have been\n\nregistered in his office according to law.
