Stat. tit. 62, § 62-443","heading":"Procedure - Restrictions on use of funds - Investment of","body":"sinking fund in warrants.\n\nThe procedure for the making of an appropriation for the\n\naforesaid purpose from such sinking fund and for the levy of a tax\n\nof not to exceed one (1) mill annually, shall be by resolution in\n\nwhich a majority of the board of county commissioners shall concur;\n\nand provided further, that the funds herein provided for shall not\n\nbe used for the purpose of purchasing a site for the construction of\n\nthe buildings herein provided for; and providing further, that in\n\nthe event time warrants are issued for the aforesaid purposes, the\n\ncounty treasurer of any such county is hereby authorized to invest\n\nany available sinking fund money of such county in any such time\n\nwarrants; and any such investment so made is hereby ratified and\n\napproved.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3d32be1bd7165356c48742f8059280591234a1f25b78b1b453183b0137087acb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-442","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-444"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
