Stat. tit. 62, § 62-505","heading":"Statements - Other municipal funds","body":"Any officer of any city, town, township, school district, board\n\nof education, or other municipality, in any county in this state,\n\nwho shall file a statement against any contingent or special fund of\n\nsaid city, town, township, school district, board of education or\n\nmunicipality, must file a complete statement setting out\n\nspecifically each item covered by said claim, and if for money\n\nexpended by him, receipt for the money so expended must be filed\n\nwith said claim, and any of the officers enumerated herein, who\n\nfiles, or allows any claim against a contingent fund, unless same\n\ncomplies with the provisions of this act, shall be liable on his\n\nofficial bond in double the amount of said claim or claims so filed,\n\nor allowed, and it shall be the duty of the district attorneys\n\nwithin their respective counties to enter suit in the name of the\n\ncounty against the official bonds of such officer or commissioner to\n\nrecover said amounts so illegally allowed and the penalty as\n\nprovided in this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"34f6e03178be0730d33a64742580e2e5c6bf9c1817d436026cfe6311e24f063e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-504","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-511"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
