Stat. tit. 62, § 62-545","heading":"Application of statute - Intention of Legislature","body":"It is hereby declared to be the intent of the Legislature that\n\nthis act shall apply to any and all investments that may be made\n\nfrom and after the effective date of this act out of the sinking\n\nfunds of the state or any of its municipal subdivision, and likewise\n\nto the sale of all bonds and securities now owned or held or that\n\nmay hereafter be owned or held as investments for any of the sinking\n\nfunds in the custody of the Treasurer of the State, or any county,\n\ncity, town or board of education thereof. It is further declared to\n\nbe the intent of the Legislature that all reference in this act to\n\nsinking funds in the custody of the county treasurer shall be deemed\n\nto include the sinking funds of such county, of the several\n\ntownships, and of the several dependent school districts thereof;\n\nand with reference to such county treasurer, the board of county\n\ncommissioners of such county shall be deemed his governing board,\n\nbeing the board to whom he is, by law, required to account, wherever\n\nthe concurrence or authority of such governing board is required\n\nwith reference to the making of investment in sinking fund monies or\n\nthe sale of the securities so purchased.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d5e72fc14f99dfc242020d8fd4b36f6ea6b1d06d2168c1cb8b62f0d920d2f8db","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-544","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-551"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
