Stat. tit. 62, § 62-57.125","heading":"Sinking fund","body":"There is hereby created in the State Treasury a fund to be known\n\nas the \"State of Oklahoma Building Bonds of 1968 Sinking Fund\"\n\n(herein called the \"sinking fund\"), which is hereby irrevocably\n\npledged to the payment of the interest on, and principal of, the\n\nbonds issued hereunder, and monies to the credit thereof shall be\n\npaid out only in the manner and at the time and places provided for\n\nin the resolution or resolutions of the Commission authorizing the\n\nissuance of such bonds. Beginning on the first day of the month\n\nfollowing the adoption of said constitutional amendment, the\n\nOklahoma Tax Commission, when transmitting to the State Treasurer\n\nthe monthly collection of the tax on cigarettes, shall also transmit\n\nto the State Treasurer a schedule showing the net proceeds of the\n\ntax on each package of cigarettes levied by Section 1, Chapter 47,\n\n1968 Oklahoma Session Laws. It shall be the duty of the State\n\nTreasurer, upon receiving said taxes and schedules from the Oklahoma\n\nTax Commission, to deposit in the Sinking Fund such portions of the\n\ncigarette tax or taxes hereinabove pledged to the payment of the\n\nbonds issued hereunder as may be necessary to assure prompt payment\n\nof the interest on, and the principal of, the outstanding State of\n\nOklahoma Building Bonds of 1968 as the same fall due.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f78e9f7cf0c7154bc06f47c4c4f96cdc9e706e4e93a2d3fe63c4badee6386f3a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.124","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.126"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
