Stat. tit. 62, § 62-57.135","heading":"Approval of bonds by Supreme Court","body":"The Commission is authorized in its discretion to file an\n\napplication with the Supreme Court of Oklahoma for the approval of\n\nthe bonds issued hereunder, and exclusive original jurisdiction is\n\nhereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and determine each\n\nsuch application. It shall be the duty of the Court to give such\n\napplications precedence over the other business of the Court and to\n\nconsider and pass upon such applications and any protests which may\n\nbe filed thereto as speedily as possible. Notice of the hearing on\n\neach application shall be given by notice published in a newspaper\n\nof general circulation in the state that on a day named the\n\ncommission will ask the Court to hear its application and approve\n\nthe bonds. Such notice shall inform all persons interested that they\n\nmay file protests against the issuance of the bonds and be present\n\nat the hearing and contest the legality thereof. Such notice shall\n\nbe published one time not less than ten (10) days prior to the date\n\nnamed for the hearing and the hearing may be adjourned from time to\n\ntime in the discretion of the Court. If the Court shall be\n\nsatisfied that the bonds have been properly authorized in accordance\n\nwith this act and Section 38, Article X, of the Constitution of\n\nOklahoma, and that when issued they will constitute valid\n\nobligations in accordance with their terms, the Court shall render\n\nits written opinion approving the bonds and shall fix the time\n\nwithin which a petition for rehearing may be filed.
