There is hereby created the Oklahoma Building Bonds\n\nCommission. The Commission shall consist of the following members:\n\n1. Two members appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nSenate of the State of Oklahoma;\n\n2. Two members appointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives of the State of Oklahoma; and\n\n3. Three members appointed by the Governor of the State of\n\nOklahoma.\n\nB. The Commission shall elect a chair and a vice-chair to serve\n\none-year terms.\n\nC. A majority of the members of the Commission shall constitute\n\na quorum. The Commission shall be subject to the Open Meeting Act,\n\nSection 301 et seq. of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, and the\n\nOpen Records Act, Section 24A.1 et seq. of Title 51 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.\n\nD. The Office of the Secretary of State shall provide staffing\n\nfor the Commission.\n\nE. The members of the Commission shall receive no additional\n\ncompensation for their services as members of the Commission or for\n\nthe performance of any duty in connection with the Commission.\n\nF. Each member of the Commission shall be allowed necessary\n\ntravel expenses as may be approved by the Commission pursuant to the\n\nState Travel Reimbursement Act, Section 500.1 et seq. of Title 74 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nG. The Commission, prior to the election on the constitutional\n\namendment identified as House Joint Resolution No. 1076 of the 2nd\n\nSession of the 43rd Oklahoma Legislature, may perform those\n\npreliminary duties necessary to issue bonds pursuant to this act as\n\nspecified in subsection C of Section 695.7 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e76e1b1ee2c7cc1b49d5ec3ffaae11f3ec124a5d6c6abd3203e56d0335107264","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.301","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
