Stat. tit. 62, § 62-57.57","heading":"Delivery of bonds upon payment - Deposit and investment","body":"of proceeds - Interest.\n\nThe bonds and interest coupons attached thereto shall be\n\ndelivered to the State Treasurer upon payment of par and accrued\n\ninterest to the date of delivery thereof. The proceeds of the sale\n\nof said bonds shall be deposited in the State Treasury of the State\n\nof Oklahoma, in a fund which is hereby created and designated the\n\n\"1965 Building Bond Fund\", where they shall remain subject to\n\ndisposition to be provided for by the Legislature of Oklahoma,\n\nprovided that the State Treasurer of the State of Oklahoma, when so\n\ndirected by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education acting\n\non behalf of the governing board, as to the amounts available for\n\ninvestment shall invest said designated amounts of the 1965 Building\n\nBond Fund in direct obligations of the United States of America or\n\nin certificates of deposits from banks in the State of Oklahoma\n\nacceptable as depositories by the State Treasurer when such\n\ncertificates of deposits are secured by acceptable collateral and\n\nyield as much or more than direct obligations of the United States\n\nof America, and provided further that, all such investments of said\n\nmonies must be so made that the same shall mature in time to enable\n\nthe State of Oklahoma to issue warrants for payment of the valid\n\nindebtedness incurred for the purpose for which said bonds are\n\nissued, when the said indebtedness has been incurred pursuant to\n\nlegislative authority. It shall be the duty of the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education to promptly certify to the State\n\nTreasurer the amount of all sums not needed for payment of\n\nconstruction and other legal expenditures payable from the 1965\n\nBuilding Bond Fund to meet the construction payment schedule, and\n\nupon receipt of such certification the State Treasurer shall\n\nforthwith make the afore-mentioned investment.
