Stat. tit. 62, § 62-57.68","heading":"Certificate of Attorney General - Signatures and seals","body":"Within ten (10) days after the sale or sales of said bonds, the\n\nAttorney General of the State of Oklahoma shall examine all of the\n\nproceedings of the Commission and all resolutions passed and actions\n\ntaken by it in connection with the authorization and issuance and\n\nsale of such bonds and shall, if he finds such bond proceedings and\n\nsale to be constitutional and lawful, execute his certificate and\n\nfile the same of record in the Office of the Secretary of State of\n\nthe State of Oklahoma, which said certificate shall read\n\nsubstantially as follows: \"I have examined all proceedings had in\n\nconnection with the issuance of the State of Oklahoma Institutional\n\nBuilding Bonds of 1965, Series A, in the aggregate principal amount\n\nof Fifteen Million Four Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars\n\n($15,425,000.00) dated _____, authorized and sold pursuant to\n\nSection 37, Article X, Constitution of Oklahoma and laws of the\n\nState of Oklahoma enacted pursuant thereto, and find said\n\nproceedings and sale to be constitutional, lawful and regular in all\n\nparticulars and that said bonds will be valid legal general\n\nobligations of the State of Oklahoma. Unless suit thereon shall be\n\nbrought in the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma within thirty\n\n(30) days from the date of this certificate, said bonds shall be\n\nincontestable for all purposes. Date _____, Attorney General of the\n\nState of Oklahoma\". The procedure above enacted shall be followed\n\nafter the sale of the Series B Bonds, and the above certificate\n\nshall be executed by the Attorney General in the same form and\n\nmanner, except as to the amount which shall specify Series B in the\n\nsum of Twelve Million Dollars ($12,000,000.00). Upon the filing of\n\nsuch certificate, bonds issued pursuant to proceedings so examined\n\nby the Attorney General shall be incontestable for all purposes upon\n\nthe expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of such\n\ncertificate, unless suit be brought in the Supreme Court of Oklahoma\n\nprior to the expiration of said period as provided herein.\n\nA facsimile of such Attorney General's certificate shall appear\n\non each bond so issued. The Supreme Court of Oklahoma is hereby\n\nvested with exclusive jurisdiction over any litigation involving the\n\nvalidity of any bonds issued under this act. All bonds shall bear\n\nthe signature of the Governor and the Secretary of State and shall\n\nbear the certificate required by Section 29, Article X, of the\n\nConstitution of Oklahoma. Such bonds shall also be registered by\n\nthe Treasurer of the State of Oklahoma and a statement of such\n\nregistration shall appear on the back of each bond. The Commission\n\nmay, by resolution, prescribe that the seal of the State of\n\nOklahoma, or the seals of any of the officers thereof, and any or\n\nall signatures required to appear on the bonds or coupons, with the\n\nexception of the Governor's signature on the bonds, may be facsimile\n\nseals and signatures.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1efb235370170faedacb3d397df886a3941096f7085f0dbd726e4d464fa8e62c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.67","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-57.69"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
