Stat. tit. 62, § 62-690.9","heading":"Powers and duties of Authority","body":"The Authority is hereby authorized and empowered:\n\n1. To adopt bylaws for the regulation of its affairs and\n\nconduct of its business;\n\n2. To adopt an official seal and alter the same;\n\n3. To maintain an office at such place or places within the\n\nenterprise district as it may designate;\n\n4. To sue and be sued, in contract, reverse condemnation,\n\nequity, mandamus and similar actions in its own name, plead and be\n\nimpleaded; provided however, that any and all actions at law or in\n\nequity against the Authority shall be brought in the county in which\n\nthe principal office of the Authority shall be located, or in the\n\ncounty of the residence of the plaintiff, or the county wherein the\n\ncause of action arose;\n\n5. To acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property\n\nin the exercise of its powers and the performance of its duties\n\nunder this section;\n\n6. To make and enter into all contracts and agreements\n\nnecessary or incidental to the performance of its duties and the\n\nexecution of its powers under this act; and\n\n7.
