There is hereby created within the Legislature the\n\nLegislative Office of Fiscal Transparency (LOFT). The purpose of\n\nthe Office shall be to assist the Legislature in performing its\n\nconstitutional and statutory function of ensuring that government\n\nfunds are expended in a fiscally responsible manner.\n\nB. The operations of the Office shall be overseen by the\n\ncommittee created in Section 3 of this act. The committee shall\n\nemploy an Executive Director and such other staff as it may deem\n\nnecessary to carry out its duties as set forth in this act.\n\nC.
