Stat. tit. 62, § 62-823","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Regional Economic Development District Act:\n\n1. “Bonds” means any bonds, notes, certificates of\n\nparticipation or other evidences of indebtedness issued pursuant to\n\nSection 35 of Article X of the Oklahoma Constitution;\n\n2. “Department” means the Oklahoma Department of Commerce\n\nestablished pursuant to Section 5001 et seq. of Title 74 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes and any successor agency;\n\n3. “Governing body” means the city council, city commission,\n\nboard of trustees of a municipality or the board of commissioners of\n\na county;\n\n4. “Participating Entity” means any municipality or county\n\ncomprising an established Regional District;\n\n5. “Project” means the acquisition or construction of real or\n\npersonal property, or both, by or for the use of public or private\n\nentities as may be authorized for economic development purposes by\n\nthe Legislature pursuant to the provisions of Section 35 of Article\n\nX of the Oklahoma Constitution; and\n\n6. “Regional District” means a regional economic development\n\ndistrict, as designated by the Governor pursuant to Section 7 of\n\nthis act.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fe60a4ccdc916926fa08abbae57931224299bb0298963617655cf8d2d9dd5f7a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-822","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-824"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
