Stat. tit. 62, § 62-826","heading":"Approval or rejection by Governor of Final Project Plan –","body":"Election proclamation.\n\nA. After receipt and review of the Final Project Plan, the\n\nGovernor shall either approve the Final Project Plan and the terms\n\nand conditions contained therein, or the Governor shall reject the\n\nplan and return it to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce along with\n\nany revisions which the Governor may deem appropriate. If returned\n\nto the Department, the Department will revise the plan and resubmit\n\nthe plan to the Governor.\n\nB. Once the Final Project Plan is approved by the Governor, the\n\nGovernor shall then issue an election proclamation calling for an\n\nelection to be held within each of the municipalities and counties\n\nlisted in the Final Project Plan. The election proclamation shall\n\nset a date on which elections shall be held within each of the\n\nlisted municipalities and counties. The elections shall be\n\nconducted by the appropriate county election board or boards\n\npursuant to the general election laws of the state, but shall be\n\ncoordinated by the State Election Board under such procedures as it\n\nmay, by rule, prescribe. Notice of the election shall be given by\n\nthe mayor of each municipality or by the county commissioners of\n\neach county, by advertisement weekly for at least four times in a\n\nnewspaper of general circulation in said municipality or county,\n\nwith the last publication to be not less than ten (10) days prior to\n\nthe date of the elections. All costs associated with the holding of\n\nsuch elections shall be paid for by the Department, and no municipal\n\nor county funds shall be used; provided, however, that the Governor\n\nis authorized to accept donations from private parties for the\n\npurpose of defraying all or a portion of the costs associated with\n\nthe holding of such elections.\n\nC.
