Stat. tit. 62, § 62-830","heading":"Application to Supreme Court for validation of bonds –","body":"Notice – Conclusiveness of determination.\n\nA. The Governor is hereby authorized to file an application, at\n\nthe Governor's discretion, with the Supreme Court of Oklahoma for\n\nthe validation of any bonds to be issued hereunder or for any writ,\n\nincluding mandamus, which may lie in relation to any action to be\n\ntaken by the governing body of a Participating Entity. Exclusive\n\noriginal jurisdiction is hereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to\n\nhear and determine each such application. Notice of the hearing on\n\neach application shall be given by a notice published in a newspaper\n\nof general circulation within the Regional District. Such notice\n\nshall inform all persons interested that they may file protests\n\nagainst the validation or approval and be present at the hearing and\n\ncontest the same. Such notice shall be published one time, not less\n\nthan ten (10) days prior to the date named for the hearing, and the\n\nhearing may be adjourned from time to time at the discretion of the\n\ncourt.\n\nB. In any action to approve bonds, if the Supreme Court is\n\nsatisfied that the bonds have been properly authorized in accordance\n\nwith the provisions of this act, and that when issued they will\n\nconstitute valid obligations of the respective issuers in accordance\n\nwith their terms, the Supreme Court shall render its written opinion\n\napproving the bonds and shall fix the time within which a petition\n\nfor rehearing may be filed. The decision of the Supreme Court shall\n\nbe a judicial determination of the validity of the bonds, shall be\n\nconclusive as to the governing body of each Participating Entity,\n\nand thereafter the bonds so approved and the revenues pledged to\n\ntheir payment shall be incontestable in any court of the State of\n\nOklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"16cb44a9a3c53879e3a1de2946f86a1ce02344825074f305d429fbbacedf4141","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-829","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-831"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
