Stat. tit. 62, § 62-911","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Local and Regional Capital Improvement Planning\n\nProcess Act, unless otherwise indicated:\n\n1. \"Capital improvement plan\" means a document or interrelated\n\ndocument containing the elements established under the provisions of\n\nsubsection D of Section 5 of this act, including the strategies for\n\nan implementation program which are consistent with the goals and\n\nguidelines established under the Local and Regional Capital\n\nImprovement Planning Process Act;\n\n2. \"Local planning committee\" means the committee established\n\nby the officers of a unit of local government or combination of\n\nunits of local governments which has the general responsibility\n\nestablished under Section 5 of this act. If a unit of local\n\ngovernment has an existing planning department or other such entity,\n\nthe unit may utilize that entity as its local planning committee;\n\n3. \"Person\" means an individual, corporation, governmental\n\nagency, county, municipality, trust, estate, partnership,\n\nassociation or any other legal entity;\n\n4. \"Regional council\" means a regional commission or a council\n\nof governments established under the provisions of the Interlocal\n\nCooperation Act, and which has as its primary purpose joint planning\n\nfor units of local government and consists of Grand Gateway Economic\n\nDevelopment Association, Eastern Oklahoma Development District,\n\nKiamichi Economic Development District of Oklahoma, Southern\n\nOklahoma Development Association, Central Oklahoma Economic\n\nDevelopment District, Indian Nations Council of Governments,\n\nNorthern Oklahoma Development Association, Association of Central\n\nOklahoma Governments, Association of South Central Oklahoma\n\nGovernments, South Western Oklahoma Development Authority and\n\nOklahoma Economic Development Association;\n\n5. \"Reviewing authority\" means the planning board, agency or\n\noffice of a unit of local government or if none, the elected\n\nofficers of such unit;\n\n6. \"Special district\" means a rural water district,\n\nconservation district, rural road improvement district, sewer\n\nprotection district, fire protection district and districts\n\nestablished pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act; and\n\n7. \"Unit of local government\" means a municipality, county or\n\nspecial district.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"89ea4a4089b8e36c641e863ee417f76feca815ce19829b75ed1cbf2acaee0a54","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-910","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-912"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
