The State Commissioner of Health may adopt an official seal\n\nfor the State Department of Health. The State Commissioner of\n\nHealth shall hold such meetings as he or she deems necessary.\n\nB. The Commissioner shall have the following powers and duties:\n\n1. Adopt such rules and standards as he or she deems necessary\n\nto carry out any of the provisions of the Oklahoma Public Health\n\nCode;\n\n2. Accept and disburse grants, allotments, gifts, devises,\n\nbequests, funds, appropriations, and other property made or offered\n\nto the Department; and\n\n3. Establish such divisions, sections, bureaus, offices, and\n\npositions in the State Department of Health as the Commissioner\n\ndeems necessary to carry out the provisions of this Code.\n\nC. The State Commissioner of Health shall be appointed by the\n\nGovernor, with the advice and consent of the Senate. The\n\nCommissioner shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor and may be\n\nremoved or replaced without cause.
