Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1108","heading":"Rules and regulations - Definitions - Standards","body":"Whenever in the judgment of the State Board of Health such\n\naction will promote honesty and fair dealing in the interest of\n\nconsumers, the Board shall promulgate reasonable rules and\n\nregulations fixing and establishing for any food or class of food a\n\nreasonable definition and standard of identity, and/or reasonable\n\nstandard of quality and/or fill of container. In prescribing a\n\ndefinition and standard of identity for any food or class of food in\n\nwhich optional ingredients are permitted the Board shall, for the\n\npurpose of promoting honesty and fair dealing in the interest of\n\nconsumers, designate the optional ingredients which shall be named\n\non the label.
