Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1413","heading":"Regulations - Hearings - Notice","body":"(a) The authority to promulgate regulations for the efficient\n\nenforcement of this article is hereby vested in the State Board of\n\nHealth, which is hereby authorized to make regulations promulgated\n\nunder this article conform, insofar as practicable, with those\n\npromulgated under the Federal Act.\n\n(b) Hearings authorized or required by this article shall be\n\nconducted by the State Commissioner of Health or such officer,\n\nagent, or employee as the Commissioner may designate for the\n\npurpose.\n\n(c) Before promulgating any regulations contemplated by Section\n\n1409(d), (e), (f), (g), (h), and (k) or 1412(b), the Board shall\n\ngive appropriate notice of the proposal and of the time and place\n\nfor a hearing. The regulation so promulgated shall become effective\n\non a date fixed by the Board (which date shall not be prior to\n\ntwenty (20) days after its promulgation). Such regulation may be\n\namended or repealed in the same manner as is provided for its\n\nadoption, except that in the case of a regulation amending or\n\nrepealing such regulation the Board, to such extent as it deems\n\nnecessary in order to prevent undue hardship, may disregard the\n\nforegoing provisions regarding notice, hearing or effective date.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ad39ec070a96335cadc1f876dec30a217b316cb010bf444b7e2d365ec9ad9a1c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1412","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1414"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
