Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1702","heading":"Renewal of license or permit - Grace period - Renewal","body":"fee - Penalty fee - Prohibited renewal.\n\nThe holder of any renewable license or permit issued under the\n\nprovisions of this Code shall be entitled to thirty (30) days after\n\nthe expiration date thereof in which to renew the same, without\n\npenalty; and if he fails to pay the renewal fee within such thirty-\n\nday period, he shall, unless otherwise provided in this Code, be\n\nrequired to pay the renewal fee plus a penalty fee in an amount as\n\npromulgated by the State Board of Health by rule. Such penalty fee\n\nshall not exceed the amount of the renewal fee. In the case of any\n\nrenewal fee which shall exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00),\n\nthe penalty fee shall be one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month\n\nof the outstanding balance of the renewal fee.
