Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1704","heading":"Status of employees under Merit System not changed","body":"\n\nThis act, or the repeal of any law by this act, shall not change\n\nor affect the status, rights, and privileges accrued to employees of\n\nthe State Commissioner of Health under the State Merit System of\n\nPersonnel Administration when this act becomes effective. For the\n\npurposes of 74 O.S.1961, Sections 801 - 839, the position of State\n\nCommissioner of Health established by 63 O.S.1961, Sec. 1.2 and the\n\nposition of State Commissioner of Health provided for by this Code\n\nshall be deemed to be a single continuing agency of the state\n\ngovernment, and persons employed by the former Commissioner and\n\ncontinuing as employees of the latter Commissioner shall be entitled\n\nto the same status, rights, and privileges under such statutes that\n\nthey would have had if the former position had remained in\n\nexistence.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1f689b60f3c9dc190ae680ca5f4ba7fca25503279af018aa7b48889615126af8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1703","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1708"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
