Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1929","heading":"Rules and regulations for transfer of resident by","body":"Department.\n\nThe Department shall develop reasonable rules and regulations\n\nthat establish appropriate criteria for the transfer of residents\n\ninitiated by the Department in emergency situations, including\n\nnotice and hearings if the resident is aggrieved by the decision.\n\nThe primary purpose and emphasis of the departmental rules and\n\nregulations shall be the preservation of the health, welfare, and\n\nsafety of the residents. In addition, the Department of Human\n\nServices shall cooperate with the Health Department and the\n\nDepartment of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to provide\n\nassistance in relocation of residents, to provide casework services,\n\nand in other ways to minimize the impact of the transfer on the\n\nresidents.\n\nIn the development of these rules and regulations, the\n\nDepartment shall consider advice and comments from the Long-Term\n\nCare Facility Advisory Board, representatives of the nursing home\n\nresidential care home industries, and representatives of statewide\n\norganizations for the elderly.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5ea33fe18ccf204b62e867d451781634c148dda901e19a0e3d4f58c13f17adb3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1928","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1930"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
