Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1949.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this act:\n\n1. “Long-term care administrator” means a person licensed or\n\ncertified as a Tier 1 long-term care administrator or Tier 2 long-\n\nterm care administrator under this act. A long-term care\n\nadministrator must devote at least one-half (1/2) of such person’s\n\nworking time to on-the-job supervision of a long-term care facility;\n\nprovided that this requirement shall not apply to an administrator\n\nof an intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual\n\ndisabilities with sixteen or fewer beds (ICF/IID-16), in which case\n\nthe person licensed by the state may be in charge of more than one\n\nICF/IID-16, if such facilities are located within a circle that has\n\na radius not more than fifteen (15) miles, and the total number of\n\nfacilities and beds does not exceed six facilities and sixty-four\n\nbeds. The facilities may be free-standing in a community or may be\n\non campus with a parent institution. The ICF/IID-16 may be\n\nindependently owned and operated or may be part of a larger\n\ninstitutional ownership and operation;\n\n2. “Tier 1 long-term care administrator” means a person\n\nlicensed by this state to perform the duties of an administrator\n\nserving in a skilled nursing or nursing facility or an intermediate\n\ncare facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities with\n\nseventeen or greater beds (ICF/IID);\n\n3. “Tier 2 long-term care administrator” means a person\n\nlicensed or certified by this state to perform the duties of an\n\nadministrator serving in an assisted living facility, residential\n\ncare facility, adult day care center, or intermediate care facility\n\nfor individuals with intellectual disabilities with sixteen or fewer\n\nbeds (ICF/IID-16);\n\n4. “Nursing home”, “rest home” and “specialized home” shall\n\nhave the same meaning as the term “nursing facility” as such term is\n\ndefined in the Nursing Home Care Act; “assisted living center” and\n\n“continuum of care facility” shall have the same meaning as such\n\nterms are defined in the Continuum of Care and Assisted Living Act;\n\n“home” and “residential care home” shall have the same meaning as\n\nthe terms are used in the Residential Care Act; and “adult day care\n\ncenter” and “center” shall have the same meaning as such terms are\n\nused in the Adult Day Care Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fa8d3e3a6f1ad9aafb259752833c9f38120916c8051d178ac7be5a56a7f4a5ac","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1949.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1949.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
