Sections 1-1950.6 through 1-1950.9 of this title shall be\n\neffective September 1, 2005.\n\nB. As used in Sections 1-1950.6 through 1-1950.9 of this title:\n\n1. “Board” means the State Board of Health;\n\n2. \"Bureau\" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation;\n\n3. \"Department\" means the State Department of Health;\n\n4. “Nursing facility” means a nursing facility and specialized\n\nfacility as such terms are defined in Section 1-1902 of this title;\n\n5. “Nontechnical services worker” means a person employed by a\n\nnursing facility to provide, for compensation, nontechnical services\n\nin or upon the premises of a nursing facility. The term\n\n“nontechnical services worker” shall not include a nurse aide, or\n\nany person who is exempt from the criminal arrest check provisions\n\nof Section 1-1950.1 of this title; and\n\n6. “Nontechnical services” means services that:\n\na. are performed in or on the premises of a nursing\n\nfacility and that are predominantly physical or manual\n\nin nature, and\n\nb. involve or may involve patient contact including, but\n\nnot limited to, housekeeping, janitorial or\n\nmaintenance services, food preparation and\n\nadministrative services.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f8c4688b10d71400da9e68b84cf0a27b1825f86b09e061455d9b1f818fcb527d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1950.5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1950.7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
