Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1955.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Long-Term Care Partnership Act, unless\n\nthe context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n1. “Asset disregard” means the total assets an individual owns\n\nand may retain upon application for the state Medicaid program and\n\nstill qualify for benefits if the individual:\n\na. is a beneficiary of a Long-Term Care Partnership\n\nProgram approved policy, and\n\nb. has exhausted the benefits of such policy.\n\nAsset disregard is increased by One Dollar ($1.00) for each One\n\nDollar ($1.00) of benefit paid out under the individual’s long-term\n\ninsurance policy if the individual purchased the policy through the\n\nOklahoma Long-Term Care Partnership Program;\n\n2. “Authority” means the Oklahoma Health Care Authority;\n\n3. “State Medicaid program” means the federal medical\n\nassistance program established under Title XIX of the Social\n\nSecurity Act; and\n\n4. “Oklahoma Long-Term Care Partnership Program approved\n\npolicy” means a long-term care insurance policy that is approved by\n\nthe Insurance Department and provided through state-approved long-\n\nterm care insurers through the Oklahoma Long-Term Care Partnership\n\nProgram.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"121a2cec4475971de904fa9b4fdb5fc6ddded74972763c814bc4408e0356af91","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1955.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1955.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
