A nursing facility, assisted living center or continuum of\n\ncare facility shall provide written notice to each resident, or to\n\nthe representative of a resident, that authorized electronic\n\nmonitoring of a resident's room conducted under the provisions of\n\nSection 1-1953.1 et seq. of this title is not compulsory and shall\n\nonly be conducted with the written consent of the resident or the\n\nrepresentative of the resident.\n\nB. A nursing facility, assisted living center or continuum of\n\ncare facility shall not refuse to admit an individual to residency\n\nin the facility or center and shall not remove a resident from a\n\nfacility or center because of authorized electronic monitoring of a\n\nresident's room.\n\nC.
