Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-1990.9","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Kasey Alert Act:\n\n1. \"Alert\" or \"Kasey Alert\" means the statewide Kasey Alert for\n\ncritically missing adults;\n\n2. \"Ashanti Alert\" means the national communications network\n\nestablished by the Ashanti Alert Act of 2018, Sections 21901 through\n\n21907 of Title 34 of the United States Code;\n\n3. \"Critically missing adult\" means a person who is at least\n\neighteen (18) and no older than fifty-nine (59) years of age, whose\n\nwhereabouts are unknown and who is believed to have been abducted or\n\ntaken against his or her will;\n\n4. \"Law enforcement agency\" means any law enforcement agency of\n\nthe state or any political subdivision thereof, including, but not\n\nlimited to, any county sheriff's office, the police departments of\n\ntribal governments, and municipal police departments;\n\n5. \"Media outlet\" includes, but is not limited to, radio\n\nstations, television stations, newspapers, social media, local\n\nsupport organizations, and other methods of communicating\n\ninformation to the public; and\n\n6. \"Not Invisible Act of 2019\" means the federal law enacted by\n\nUnited States Congress for the purpose of increasing\n\nintergovernmental coordination to identify and combat violent crime\n\nwithin Native American lands, Sections 2801 through 2815 of Title 25\n\nof the United States Code.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c4543dc65fc34e3a2aca9bae9b5cee6188d8b7926fca47684457ff2a30993484","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1990.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-1991"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
