The State Board of Health shall promulgate rules that\n\nrequire all medical and direct care staff of nursing and specialized\n\nfacilities, adult day care centers, assisted living centers and home\n\nhealth agencies licensed by the State Department of Health to\n\ncomplete, at a minimum, one (1) hour of in-service training per year\n\nin Alzheimer's- and dementia-related care.\n\nB. The curricula for the training shall include, but not be\n\nlimited to, learning ways to decode behavior messages, identifying\n\ncommon behavioral triggers and determining the types of positive\n\ncommunication that can take place between persons with Alzheimer's\n\ndisease and professional caregivers.\n\nC.
