Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-219","heading":"Child guidance programs, community mental health","body":"services and community facilities for individuals with intellectual\n\ndisabilities authorized.\n\nThe board of county commissioners of any county, or the board of\n\ncounty commissioners of two or more counties jointly, is hereby\n\nauthorized, at the option and approval of the board or boards, to\n\nconduct a child guidance program, and/or community health center\n\nand/or community facility for individuals with intellectual\n\ndisabilities, separate and apart from or in conjunction with the\n\ncounty department of health, and to request as a part of the county\n\nbudget an appropriation of not to exceed an amount equal to the net\n\nproceeds of a levy of three-fourths (3/4) mill on the dollar\n\nvaluation of taxable property in the county for such purpose or\n\npurposes; and to employ personnel, within the limits of such funds,\n\nto conduct such program or programs. Provided, that any center or\n\nfacility for mental health services established or maintained\n\nhereunder shall first be approved by the State Director of Mental\n\nHealth on advice of the Board of Mental Health and shall operate\n\nunder the guidelines of the Oklahoma Mental Health Services Act; and\n\nany center or facility for intellectual disability services\n\nestablished or maintained hereunder shall first be approved by the\n\nDirector of Human Services.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2dbb142c942e4f27bd4760ef9389ec46acd0cd0c056f070ce55b89a6cb8163ce","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-218.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-2201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
