Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-2217","heading":"Oklahoma Long-term Care Services and Supports Advisory","body":"Committee.\n\nA. There is hereby created the Oklahoma Long-term Care Services\n\nand Supports Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Committee shall\n\nbe to develop a long-range plan for long-term care service and\n\nsupports, the financial impact of these services, and stable,\n\nsustainable funding to support projected growth of these services in\n\nthe state in the future. The Committee shall consist of the\n\nfollowing members:\n\n1. Two members representing for-profit nursing homes, one\n\nmember to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives and one member to be appointed by the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate;\n\n2. Two members representing not-for-profit nursing homes, one\n\nmember to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives and one member to be appointed by the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate;\n\n3. Four members representing each sector of home- and\n\ncommunity-based services as follows:\n\na. the members representing The Program of All-Inclusive\n\nCare for the Elderly (PACE) and home care to be\n\nappointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives, and\n\nb. the members representing ADvantage waiver and adult\n\nday care to be appointed by the President Pro Tempore\n\nof the Senate;\n\n4. Two members representing the State Council on Aging, one\n\nmember to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives and one member to be appointed by the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate;\n\n5. One member representing a volunteer from the Office of the\n\nState Ombudsman, to be appointed by the Governor; and\n\n6. Two members representing the general public who shall have\n\nno financial interest in long-term care nor any personal\n\nrelationship with any long-term care provider, to be appointed by\n\nthe Governor.\n\nB. No state employee shall be eligible for membership on the\n\nCommittee.\n\nC. Members of the Committee shall serve at the pleasure of the\n\nappointing authority. Vacancies in a position shall be filled in\n\nthe same manner as the original appointment. The members of the\n\nCommittee shall elect a Chairperson at its initial meeting.\n\nD. The Committee shall hold its first meeting no later than\n\nNovember 1, 2018, shall meet monthly, and shall publish a report of\n\nits final plan no later than November 1, 2019, the date on which\n\nmembers' terms shall end.\n\nE. The Committee may use the expertise and services of the\n\nstaff of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.\n\nF.
