Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-226","heading":"Annual budget for health department","body":"The county board of health shall annually file with the county\n\nexcise board an estimate of needs for the operation or maintenance\n\nof the county, district or cooperative department of health to the\n\nextent that county funds are required for such purpose, and it shall\n\nbe the mandatory duty of the county excise board to approve the same\n\nto the extent that such estimate of needs can be financed with\n\nproceeds of a levy authorized in accordance with the provisions of\n\nSection 9A, Article 10, Oklahoma Constitution; and so much of the\n\nlevy as may be needed shall thereupon be ordered made. The estimate\n\nof needs may include, in addition to items for current operating\n\nexpenses, items for anticipated capital outlay in the future which\n\nmay accumulate from year to year until the total required amounts\n\nwill be available for expenditure.
