The State Department of Health shall prepare the\n\ncomprehensive state plan for prevention of child abuse and neglect\n\nfor the approval of the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth.\n\nThe development and preparation of the plan shall include, but not\n\nbe limited to, adequate opportunity for appropriate local private\n\nand public agencies and organizations and private citizens to\n\nparticipate in the development of the state plan at the local level.\n\nB. 1. The Office of Child Abuse Prevention shall review and\n\nevaluate all proposals submitted for grants or contracts for child\n\nabuse prevention programs and services. Upon completion of such\n\nreview and evaluation, the Office of Child Abuse Prevention shall\n\nmake the final recommendations as to which proposals should be\n\nfunded pursuant to the provisions of the Child Abuse Prevention Act\n\nand shall submit its findings to the Oklahoma Commission on Children\n\nand Youth. The Commission shall review the findings of the\n\ninteragency child abuse prevention task force and the Office of\n\nChild Abuse Prevention for compliance of such approved proposals\n\nwith the comprehensive state plan prepared pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Child Abuse Prevention Act.\n\n2. Upon ascertaining compliance with the plans, the Commission\n\nshall deliver the findings of the Office of Child Abuse Prevention\n\nto the State Commissioner of Health.\n\n3. The Commissioner shall authorize the Office of Child Abuse\n\nPrevention to use the Child Abuse Prevention Fund to fund such\n\ngrants or contracts for child abuse prevention programs and services\n\nwhich are approved by the Commissioner.\n\n4.
