Every person engaged in the business of selling alcoholic\n\nbeverages or low-point beer at retail shall notify each individual\n\nemployed by that person as a retail sales clerk or server that state\n\nlaw:\n\n1. Prohibits the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages\n\nand low-point beer to any person under twenty-one (21) years of age\n\nand the purchase or receipt of alcoholic beverages and low-point\n\nbeer by any person under twenty-one (21) years of age; and\n\n2. Requires that proof of age be demanded from a prospective\n\npurchaser or recipient if an ordinary person would conclude on the\n\nbasis of appearance that the prospective purchaser or recipient may\n\nbe under twenty-one (21) years of age.\n\nB. This notice shall be provided before the individual\n\ncommences work as a retail sales clerk or server, or, in the case of\n\nan individual employed as a retail sales clerk or server on the date\n\nwhen this section becomes effective, within thirty (30) days of that\n\ndate. The individual shall signify that he or she has received the\n\nnotice required by this section by signing a form stating as\n\nfollows:\n\n\"I understand that state law prohibits the sale or distribution\n\nof alcoholic beverages and low-point beer to persons under twenty-\n\none (21) years of age, and requires proof of age of purchaser or\n\nrecipient if an ordinary person would conclude on the basis of\n\nappearance that the prospective purchaser or recipient may be under\n\ntwenty-one (21) years of age.
