Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-237","heading":"Interagency Coordinating Council for Coordination of","body":"Efforts for Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy and Sexually\n\nTransmitted Diseases.\n\n1. The Governor shall appoint an Interagency Coordinating\n\nCouncil for Coordination of Efforts for Prevention of Adolescent\n\nPregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Diseases which shall be composed\n\nof thirty-one (31) members as follows:\n\na. the chief executive officers or their designees of\n\nthe:\n\n(1) Commission on Children and Youth,\n\n(2) State Department of Education,\n\n(3) Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology\n\nEducation,\n\n(4) Department of Human Services,\n\n(5) Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse\n\nServices,\n\n(6) Office of Volunteerism,\n\n(7) State Department of Health, and\n\n(8) College of Public Health,\n\nb. the Executive Director of the Office of Juvenile\n\nAffairs or designee,\n\nc. two representatives from the Maternal and Infant\n\nHealth Division, two representatives from the HIV/STD\n\nDivision, two representatives from the Child Health\n\nand Guidance Division of the State Department of\n\nHealth,\n\nd. a superintendent of an independent school district,\n\ne. a representative of a statewide association of medical\n\ndoctors,\n\nf. a representative of a statewide association of\n\nosteopathic physicians,\n\ng. a representative of a statewide association of parents\n\nand teachers,\n\nh. a representative of a statewide association of\n\nclassroom teachers,\n\ni. a representative of a statewide association of school\n\ncounselors,\n\nj. a principal of an alternative education program,\n\nk. a representative of business or industry,\n\nl. a representative of a statewide association formed for\n\nthe purpose of developing leadership skills,\n\nm. a representative of an ecumenical association,\n\nn. two parents of ten- to twenty-year-old children,\n\no. a teenage girl,\n\np. a representative of a nonprofit statewide child\n\nadvocacy organization,\n\nq. the Governor or the Governor's designee, who shall\n\nchair the Coordinating Council.\n\nLegal assistance shall be provided by the Office of the Attorney\n\nGeneral. Staff support and assistance shall be provided by the\n\nState Department of Health as the legal agency.\n\n2. The Coordinating Council shall:\n\na. on or before December 1, 1994, complete the State Plan\n\npursuant to the provisions of Section 1-238 of this\n\ntitle and present it to the Committee for approval,\n\nand\n\nb. after approval of the State Plan, monitor\n\nimplementation of the plan, evaluate the plan, meet\n\nwith the Committee concerning revisions whenever\n\nrequested to do so, and on or before November 1, 1995,\n\nand November 1 of each subsequent year, submit a\n\nreport on the implementation and evaluation of the\n\nState Plan to the Governor, the President Pro Tempore\n\nof the Senate and the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d85f58c8f665ce857ccc80ebbb2c14a1ed4a03ea66de0ac227c9649e1b34d316","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-236","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-237.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
