The State Plan for Coordination of Efforts for Prevention of\n\nAdolescent Pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Diseases shall include\n\nbut not necessarily be limited to:\n\n1. A statewide public awareness campaign which extols the\n\nvirtue of abstaining from premarital sexual activity. Said public\n\nawareness campaign shall not directly or indirectly condone\n\npremarital or promiscuous sexual activity;\n\n2. Identification of effective prevention strategies;\n\n3. Identification of resources, both within the agencies\n\nsubject to the provisions of this act and within the communities;\n\n4. Identification of sources of revenue for programs and\n\nefforts from private as well as federal and state sources;\n\n5. Development and replication of effective model programs;\n\n6. Empowerment of communities in developing local prevention\n\nstrategies;\n\n7. Development of recommendations for local prevention efforts\n\nand technical assistance to communities;\n\n8. Delineation of service responsibilities and coordination of\n\ndelivery of services by the agencies subject to the provisions of\n\nthis act;\n\n9. Coordination and collaboration among related efforts and\n\nprograms;\n\n10. Evaluation of prevention strategies and programs;\n\n11. Distribution of information on prevention programs and\n\nstrategies; and\n\n12. A funding and implementation plan which shall provide for\n\nutilization of identifiable financial resources from federal, state,\n\nlocal and private resources and coordination of those resources to\n\nfund related services.\n\nB. On or before July 1, 1995, the agencies subject to the\n\nprovisions of this act shall enter into interagency agreements for\n\nthe purpose of implementing the State Plan.\n\nC. On or before September 1, 1995, and each September 1\n\nthereafter, a joint funding plan shall be submitted to the Governor,\n\nthe President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House\n\nof Representatives by the agencies subject to the provisions of this\n\nact.
