The governing body of any municipality, public ambulance\n\nservice district organized pursuant to Sections 1201 through 1221 of\n\nTitle 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or emergency medical service\n\ndistrict organized pursuant to Section 9C of Article X of the\n\nOklahoma Constitution may elect to enter into agreements with local\n\nfirst responder agencies, whether governmental or nonprofit, for the\n\npurpose of acquiring assistance with emergency medical response.\n\nB. All agreements entered into pursuant to subsection A of this\n\nsection shall, at a minimum:\n\n1. Determine the required training necessary in order for first\n\nresponders to participate under the agreement;\n\n2. Establish a system for identifying which first responders\n\nare eligible to participate under the agreement;\n\n3. Establish a process for verifying the training credentials\n\nof participating first responders;\n\n4. Establish the level of emergency medical care to be provided\n\nby the participating first responders;\n\n5. Determine which party to the agreement shall provide\n\ncompensation, if any, and insurance coverage for participating first\n\nresponders;\n\n6. Establish a process for ensuring that participating first\n\nresponders are familiar and compliant with applicable operating\n\nprocedures and standards of care; and\n\n7.
