Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-2553","heading":"Article IV — Compact privilege to practice","body":"ARTICLE IV\n\nCompact Privilege to Practice\n\nA. Member states shall recognize the privilege to practice of\n\nan individual licensed in another member state that is in\n\nconformance with Section 3 of this Compact.\n\nB. To exercise the privilege to practice under the terms and\n\nprovisions of this Compact, an individual must:\n\n1. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;\n\n2. Possess a current unrestricted license in a member state as\n\nan EMT, AEMT, paramedic, or state-recognized and -licensed level\n\nwith a scope of practice and authority between EMT and paramedic;\n\nand\n\n3. Practice under the supervision of a medical director.\n\nC. An individual providing patient care in a remote state under\n\nthe privilege to practice shall function within the scope of\n\npractice authorized by the home state unless and until modified by\n\nan appropriate authority in the remote state, as may be defined in\n\nthe rules of the Commission.\n\nD. Except as provided in subsection C of Section 4 of this\n\nCompact, an individual practicing in a remote state will be subject\n\nto the remote state's authority and laws. A remote state may, in\n\naccordance with due process and that state's laws, restrict,\n\nsuspend, or revoke an individual's privilege to practice in the\n\nremote state and may take any other necessary actions to protect the\n\nhealth and safety of its citizens. If a remote state takes action,\n\nit shall promptly notify the home state and the Commission.\n\nE. If an individual's license in any home state is restricted\n\nor suspended, the individual shall not be eligible to practice in a\n\nremote state under the privilege to practice until the individual's\n\nhome state license is restored.\n\nF.
