Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-2604","heading":"Individual policy coverage for prescription drugs for","body":"cancer treatment or study of oncology - Exclusion prohibited.\n\nNo individual policy of accident and health insurance issued\n\nwhich provides coverage for prescription drugs, nor any group\n\nblanket policy of accident and health insurance issued which\n\nprovides coverage for prescription drugs shall exclude coverage of\n\nprescription drugs for cancer treatment or the study of oncology\n\nbecause the off-label use of such prescription drug has not been\n\napproved by the Federal Food and Drug Administration for that\n\nindication in one of the standard reference compendia, as defined in\n\nparagraph (d) of Section 1-1401 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.\n\nAny coverage of a prescription drug required by this section\n\nshall also include provisions for coverage of medically necessary\n\nservices associated with the administration of the prescription\n\ndrug.\n\nNothing in this section shall be construed as altering existing\n\nlaw with regard to provisions limiting the coverage of prescription\n\ndrugs that have not been approved by the Federal Food and Drug\n\nAdministration.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d7cf7776f516e5be065e8e3827c5787029320816c899bf2957a897eb61458324","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-2603","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-2605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
