Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-304","heading":"State Commissioner of Health - Duties","body":"(a) The State Commissioner of Health shall:\n\n(1) administer and enforce this article and the rules and\n\nregulations issued hereunder, and issue instructions for the\n\nefficient administration of the statewide system of vital\n\nstatistics.\n\n(2) direct and supervise the statewide system of vital\n\nstatistics and be custodian of its records.\n\n(3) prescribe and distribute such forms as are required by this\n\narticle and the rules and regulations issued hereunder.\n\n(4) prepare and publish reports of vital statistics of this\n\nstate, and such other reports as may be required by law.\n\n(b) The Commissioner may delegate such functions and duties\n\nvested in the Commissioner to employees of the State Department of\n\nHealth and to the local registrars as the Commissioner deems\n\nnecessary or expedient.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"80d6ebb737c9ad0a5858c06a3cd6766a1b211e48ba67ef5b8bd430cf5c4006aa","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-303","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
