The Vital Records Section of the State Department of Health\n\nshall obtain and record all social security numbers of the parents\n\nfor each live birth in this state. The social security numbers are\n\nnot required to be recorded on the birth certificate of the child.\n\nB. The Vital Records Section of the State Department of Health\n\nshall obtain and record the social security number, if any, of any\n\nperson who has died in this state.
