Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-319","heading":"Disinterment Permit - Notice of Disinterment and","body":"Reinterment.\n\nA. A burial transit permit issued under the laws of another\n\nstate which accompanies a dead body or fetus brought into this state\n\nshall be authority for final disposition of the body or fetus in\n\nthis state.\n\nB. A disinterment permit shall be required prior to\n\ndisinterment of a dead body or fetus except as authorized by\n\nregulation or otherwise provided by law. Such permit shall be\n\nissued by the Commissioner of Health to a licensed funeral director,\n\nembalmer, or other person acting as such, upon proper application.\n\nC. Application for a disinterment shall include the consent of\n\nthe next of kin. The consent of the next of kin shall be completed\n\nby the next of kin in order of priority as established in Section\n\n1158 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nD. If the dead body or fetus is to be disinterred and\n\nreinterred in the same cemetery, a disinterment permit is not\n\nrequired.\n\nE. If the dead body or fetus is to be disinterred and\n\nreinterred in the same cemetery, a notice of disinterment and\n\nreinterment shall be completed, signed by the funeral director and\n\nthe next of kin, and then submitted to the State Department of\n\nHealth within five (5) days of such action.\n\nF.
