Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-324.1","heading":"Birth, death or stillbirth certificates - Prohibited","body":"acts - Penalties.\n\nA. It shall be unlawful and deemed a Class D3 felony offense\n\nfor any person to commit any of the following specified acts in\n\nrelation to birth, death or stillbirth certificates issued by this\n\nstate:\n\n1. Create, issue, present or possess a fictitious birth, death\n\nor stillbirth certificate;\n\n2. Apply for a birth, death or stillbirth certificate under\n\nfalse pretenses;\n\n3. Alter information contained on a birth, death or stillbirth\n\ncertificate;\n\n4. Obtain, display or represent a birth certificate of any\n\nperson as one's own by any person, other than the person named on\n\nthe birth certificate;\n\n5. Obtain, display or represent a fictitious death or\n\nstillbirth certificate for the purpose of fraud;\n\n6. Make a false statement or knowingly conceal a material fact\n\nor otherwise commit fraud in an application for a birth, death or\n\nstillbirth certificate;\n\n7. Knowingly present a false or forged certificate for filing;\n\n8. Knowingly provide false personal data to a certifier of a\n\ndeath certificate; or\n\n9. Knowingly misrepresent any person's relationship to the\n\ndecedent.\n\nB. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, it is a\n\nfelony for any employee or person authorized to issue or create a\n\nbirth, death or stillbirth certificate or related record under this\n\ntitle to knowingly issue such certificate or related record to a\n\nperson not entitled thereto, or to knowingly create or record such\n\ncertificate bearing erroneous information thereon. A certifier who\n\nknowingly omits to list a lethal agent or improperly states manner\n\nof death in violation of subsection E of Section 1-317 of this title\n\nshall be deemed to have engaged in unprofessional conduct as\n\ndescribed in paragraph 8 of Section 509 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.\n\nC. Except as otherwise provided in subsection B of this\n\nsection, a violation of any of the provisions of this section shall\n\nconstitute a Class D3 felony offense punishable as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20P of Title 21 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.\n\nD. Notwithstanding any provision of this section, the State\n\nCommissioner of Health or a designated agent, upon the request of a\n\nchief administrator of a health or law enforcement agency, may\n\nauthorize the issuance, display or possession of a birth, death or\n\nstillbirth certificate, which would otherwise be in violation of\n\nthis section, for the sole purpose of education with regard to\n\npublic health or safety; provided, however, any materials used for\n\nsuch purposes shall be marked \"void\".\n\nE.
